Turkey imposed antidumping duties on sodium percarbonate imports from Germany and Sweden on 2 March 2018. According to the related communique, imports of this product shall be subject to 12% antidumping duty when imported from Germany or Sweden. For German company Solvay Chemicals GmbH, AD duty rate shall be 5%. Cooperating companies, such as Solvay GmbH in this case, get a more favorable rate, since authorities determine a higher rate in order to penalize non-cooperation.
The product in question is classified under HS code 2836.99.90. The Ministry of Economy of Turkey's decision entered into force on the date of its publication.
