Ministry of Economy of Turkey imposed antidumping (anti-circumvention) duties on imports of POY from China, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam on 21 June 2018. POY (Partially Oriented Yarn) is used as input to many types of polyester yarns. For the product classified under HS code 5402.46, duty rates range from 2,45% to 8% for different countries and companies.
The Ministry of Economy's decision entered into force on the date of its publication.
