Ministry of Trade of Turkey imposed safeguard duty on imports of float or drawn glass sheets classified under customs codes 7004, 7005 and 7006 from Iran for 3 years.
According to the related Communique of the Ministry, published on 11 December 2018 in the Official Gazette of Turkey, safeguard duty amount will be 48 USD per ton for the first application year (2019) and this amount shall be decreased to 46 USD per ton and 44 USD per ton during the second (2020) and third (2021) years, respectively.
