Turkey Extends Scope of Antidumping Duty on DOTP From Korea

Ministry of Trade of Turkey imposed antidumping duty on Dioctyl Terephthalate (DOTP) imports from Korea in 2017. While the AD duty has been applied for imported DOTP classified under customs code 2917.39.95.90.13, the Ministry decided to include imports under customs code 3812.20.90.00.00 from Korea, based on the results of an anti-circumvention investigation recently completed. According to the notification of the Ministry published in the Official Gazette on 9 November 2019, antidumping duty rate will continue at the level of 7,99% for LG Chem Ltd. and 12,57% for all other producers in the Republic of Korea.
