Turkey imposed additional duties on most industrial product imports such as medical goods, textile, metals etc. pursuant to Presidential Decrees no. 2429 and 2430 published in the Official Gazette on 21 April 2020.
According to the text of both Decrees, this measure is temporary and shall expire on 30 September 2020. Additional duties are not applicable for imports originating in the European Union and for countries with which FTA's are in force.
