Turkey imposed safeguard measure on toothbrush imports for 3 years. Safeguard measure will be applied as additional duty. Starting from the publication date of the related Council of Ministers Decree, the safeguard will be 0.23 USD/piece for the first year, 0.22 USD/piece for the second year and 0.21 USD/piece for the third year. The Ministry of Economy of Turkey also opened tariff quota for least developed and developing countries in the amount of 6 289 963 pieces. The decision enters into force on the date of its publication (3 Feb. 2018).
