Turkey imposed antidumping duty concerning imports of woven fabrics of synthetic filament yarn originating in or exported from Malaysia.
According to the Communique no. 2021/2 published in the Official Gazette on 31 December 2020, imports of woven fabrics of synthetic filament yarn (customs HS code: 54.07) shall be subject to antidumping duties (ranging between 21.13% and 70.44%) already in force against China following the anti-circumvention investigation conducted by the Ministry of Trade of Turkey.
Malaysian producer/exporters Recron Sdn Bhd and Innotech Textile Sdn Bhd, which cooperated with the Ministry during the investigation, were exempted from the duties mentioned.
